I am the artist GROCKEN. 

I fell in love with pour painting about five years ago. I am self-taught by all the wonderful artists sharing their work on YouTube. I practice, practice, practice — small paintings mostly — to try and master the many different techniques. I enjoy creating seasonal paintings to match monthly occasions including, US and Hawaiian Holidays. 

I started working at the Byodo-In Temple Hawaii in March of 2022, where two days a week I display and sell my original artwork including posters and framed prints, notecards, calendars, and magnets. 

I have won several prestigious awards for my paintings, including an Emerging Artist award.
