DESCRIPTION:I am the artist GROCKEN. \nI fell in love with pour painting about five years ago. I am self-taught by all the wonderful artists sharing their work on YouTube. I practice, practice, practice — small paintings mostly — to try and master the many different techniques. I enjoy creating seasonal paintings to match monthly occasions including, US and Hawaiian Holidays. \nI started working at the Byodo-In Temple Hawaii in March of 2022, where two days a week I display and sell my original artwork including posters and framed prints, notecards, calendars, and magnets. \nI have won several prestigious awards for my paintings, including an Emerging Artist award.\nPlease join my daily journey and follow me on instagram.com/grockenscalendar.  \n
